what does the camp team do?
Our summer camp team members will serve in the kitchen, dish room, snack shack, and the store. They will also man the pool/slide, work on the grounds, and clean the dorms weekly. Our summer staff will engage in a purposeful servant leadership program where they will study scripture and discover what it means to serve as Christ served. During the summer, we will study spiritual gifts, multiple ways to share the Gospel, how to share a personal testimony, how God has called us to serve, and more. Our daily curriculum will be led by our staff, as well as by missionaries, pastors, and business owners as they share how God has called them to serve Him.

Each week of camp at Spring Lake is hosted by various ministries and churches. That means our summer camp team must be flexible as we seek to glorify God through assisting each group and meeting the needs they have.
who is eligible to apply?
You must have graduated high school and be at least 18 years of age by the day you report to camp to be considered for a position.
do i have to pay for housing and food or is that included?
We pay for your meals and your housing except for meals on the days you don't work.
will i get paid?
We pay our Summer Camp Team members $80 a day. Why not per week? Some camps run Monday-Saturday, and we want to be sure to compensate you fairly when there are extra days of work.
when do i start?
We have a few different options you can pick from this summer. If you are interested in being a team lead, you will be required to work both sessions from June 2 - August 2. There is also an option to work just one session. If you choose to do that, Session 1 is June 2 - June 28, and Session 2 is July 1 - August 2. There are mandatory training dates that all summer staff are required to attend. The training dates are May 20-May 24.
